About FranchiseFeast

FranchiseFeast exists because almost everything you read while researching a food franchise is written by someone who profits when you buy one. Franchisor blogs recruit for their own brand. Franchise directories collect your phone number and sell it, often more than once. Even the friendly "top 10" listicles are usually lead funnels in disguise.

We took the other lane. FranchiseFeast is an independent publisher. We do not offer or sell franchises, we are not brokers, and we have no post-sale role in any franchise relationship. Our job ends when you understand the numbers well enough to interrogate them yourself.

What we cover

Coffee and cafe franchises get our deepest coverage, alongside low-cost food concepts, the franchise buying process itself (the FDD, royalties, financing), and the equipment that goes into a first location. Every guide follows the same rule: a number without a source does not get printed.

How we make money

Three ways, all disclosed. Some equipment guides use Amazon affiliate links, marked on every page that has them. Advertising may appear on some pages. And if you opt in on a signup form, we may connect you with a trusted, independent franchise-development partner and earn a referral fee. None of it changes a recommendation, we are not a broker and take no money from any franchisor, and we never sell your information to data brokers. Ouraffiliate and referral disclosure has the details.

Who writes this

Guides are researched and written by the FranchiseFeast Editorial team using the process described in our editorial methodology: public Franchise Disclosure Documents, franchisor disclosures, government sources like the FTC and SBA, and manufacturer spec sheets. We do not publish anonymous expert personas or invented credentials, and when we get something wrong, we correct it and say so.
