Franchisee Validation Call Script

By FranchiseFeast Editorial

A printable call script and question bank for validation calls with current and former franchisees, with a write-in line under each question.

Validation calls, talking to people who already own the franchise, are one of the most useful due-diligence steps you can take, and one of the few no franchisor controls. Use the FDD's Item 20 list to reach current and, just as important, former franchisees, ask everyone the same questions so you can compare answers, and remember that no single owner's experience is a promise of yours. Verify anything financial against the FDD's Item 19 and your own accountant. This is educational, not legal or financial advice.
